What does your day-to-day as CEO and founder of Canvass AI look like?
Humera Malik: In day-to-day, I usually spend a percentage of my time on recruitment, so I spent quite a bit of time in that as we’re scaling up, so building the team. I spend another percentage of my time in working with my team actively on our go-to market as well as on the product side.
What were some of the greatest barriers for you as you started out in your career, and how did you overcome these barriers?
HM: Now the barriers, as a CEO, you constantly have to be making decisions and making choices, and I recognize that when you’re going through those you find that’s the hardest thing when you are doing it, but coming through certain of the early barriers, and then now what I find is that the hardest part is when you have options and you have to make decisions, not for yourself , but for the entire business and everybody else to make sure you’re making the right decisions.
