Why Black and Latina women are more likely to struggle with impostor syndrome—and how to overcome it

Impostor feelings are often racialized and linked to feelings of anxiety because of the stereotypes often associated with race. Impostor feelings can thrive in Black and Latina women in professional and academic settings when they do not see themselves represented in leadership positions. Only 58 Black women and 71 Latina women are promoted for every 100 men who are promoted to management positions.
